Modern black kitchen with invisible induction technology
This project combines clean architectural lines, innovative technology and refined materiality to create a contemporary kitchen where aesthetics and functionality exist in perfect harmony.
The base and tall cabinetry are finished in Zenit super-matt black, an anti-fingerprint surface chosen for its elegant appearance, durability and soft tactile finish. The upper cabinets introduce warmth through an aged wood finish, creating a sophisticated contrast while adding texture and depth to the overall composition. Full-height doors extend seamlessly to the floor, concealing the plinth and reinforcing the kitchen’s minimalist architectural aesthetic.
The worktop and full-height splashback are crafted from Ascale Boreal Umber porcelain, selected for its natural aged wood appearance and exceptional resistance to heat, scratches and stains. The worktop features a 60 mm mitred edge, creating the visual impact of a solid slab while maintaining the advantages of a porcelain surface.
A defining feature of the project is the invisible induction hob, allowing cooking directly on the porcelain worktop while preserving an uninterrupted surface when not in use. A fully integrated extractor hood is concealed within the cabinetry, maintaining the clean, uncluttered appearance of the design.
All appliances have been seamlessly integrated into the tall cabinetry, including a 70 cm integrated fridge-freezer housed within a 75 cm wide cabinet for increased insulation and a balanced architectural composition. Another column unit also incorporates an elevated integrated dishwasher, improving ergonomics by reducing the need to bend during loading and unloading.
Storage has been carefully planned to maximise both capacity and usability. Every base unit is configured with deep drawers and pan drawers, providing efficient organisation and easy access to everyday items. A concealed corner cabinet features a push-to-open door with a pull-out shelf designed for small appliances, complete with a compact integrated extractor above that allows appliances such as a Thermomix to be used directly on the pull-out shelf while efficiently extracting steam.
A decorative illuminated niche introduces visual interest to the composition, while warm LED lighting beneath the wall cabinets creates a welcoming atmosphere and enhances the rich textures of the materials.
The island has been conceived as a multifunctional centrepiece, combining a slim steel frame with the warmth of the porcelain worktop. At one end, two push-to-open deep pan drawers provide generous concealed storage, while the open shelving element introduces a lighter, decorative detail that balances the overall composition.
The result is a sophisticated contemporary kitchen where advanced technology, intelligent storage solutions and carefully selected materials come together to create a space that is elegant, highly functional and designed for everyday living.
Every kitchen is tailored to your lifestyle. From intelligent storage solutions and premium materials to integrated appliances, lighting and bespoke features, every detail can be customised to create a kitchen that is uniquely yours.
