Chiringuito · Beach bar
This project was commissioned by an architectural practice to develop the 3D modelling, material definition and photorealistic visualizations for a contemporary beach bar located on the coastline of Cartagena. The purpose of the visualizations was to accurately represent the architectural proposal, communicating its design, materials and atmosphere while demonstrating how the intervention integrates with its coastal surroundings.
The beach bar was conceived as a modern interpretation of traditional Mediterranean seaside architecture, combining natural timber construction with a fresh coastal colour palette and lightweight architectural elements. White lacquered pergolas, open service areas and carefully selected outdoor furniture create an inviting environment that enhances the relationship between the building, the beach and the sea, providing visitors with a comfortable and relaxed space throughout the day.
The images were produced to help obtain planning approval for the project, allowing the architects, the client and the relevant authorities to clearly understand the architectural vision before construction. Particular emphasis was placed on accurately conveying the scale of the proposal, its functionality and its integration within the surrounding landscape.
To achieve a high level of realism, special attention was given to material quality, lighting and environmental detail. Warm natural light, realistic timber textures, Mediterranean vegetation, beach sand, outdoor furnishings and lifelike people were carefully incorporated to create convincing visualizations that reflect the atmosphere of a vibrant beachfront destination. Every element was designed to reinforce the project’s connection with its natural setting while showcasing the architectural quality of the proposal.
The resulting visualizations successfully communicated the design intent and overall character of the project, becoming an essential tool throughout the presentation and approval process. By combining technical precision with a strong focus on realism and environmental integration, the imagery provided an engaging and accurate representation of the future beach bar within the coastal landscape of Cartagena.
